By training and profession, I am a computer programmer and systems analyst (currently a Channel Sales Director for the leading WFO (workforce optimization), PS provider (Call Recording, Screen Capture etc.). I also love to travel and have always enjoyed taking photographs of my journeys. Unfortunately, like many, I was not pleased with the results I got back. As the years went by, I kept promising myself that I'll get some good equipment and become more knowledgeable about photography. It took nearly dying on an operating room table in late 1992 to get myself into gear (and realize how short life really is).

After recovering, I purchased a Nikon 6006 in 1993 and started reading everything I could get my hands on regarding photography, while taking numerous photo workshops. My hard work has paid off with many of the landscape, wildlife images having won local, state and international awards. From this foundation, I have started a photography business and have lead numerous workshop to the West when I lived in NJ. Today, I reside in Monument, CO.

The equipment I use is extensively Nikon. In the Fall of 2004 I purchased a D70, and jumped 100% to digital in April of 2005 with the Nikon D2x. Currently I am using the Nikon D4, D850 and D500. The lenses I use are all Nikon and include the 14-24 F2.8,16-35 F4 VRII, 24-70 F2.8, 200 F4.0 macro, 70-200 VR F2.8 and the big gun 200-400 VR F4.0.

For tripods, I use Gitzo and have the GT3533LS and the GM5540 monopod (I'm looking to sell my older 1325 & GT3540LS if you are interested),. For ball heads, I use either a Really Right Stuff BH-55 or a Wimberley II (sports/wildlife). For portrait lighting, I use Norman ML600R lights and the PocketWizard wireless unit.

For software, I use Photoshop, Lightroom, ProShow Gold, Noise Ninja, Photomatix Pro and SpyderPro 5 for calibration.

I was a member of the Teaneck Camera Club over 17 years and was President from 2005/06 through 2006/07 and VP from 2003/04 through 2004/05. I also belong to the Ridgewood Camera Club. At the NJ state level, I was the 1st VP of NJFCC from 12/2006-08, which is a federation of NJ camera clubs, and was a member of PSA. In all three organizations, I have won numerous medals, merit awards, honorable mentions and acceptances. In the summer of 2012, I moved to Monument Colorado, which is just north of Colorado Springs. It doesn't get much better for photography!

I have also been a photography workshop guide since 2005 travelling to many of America's parks such as The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Glacier, Olympic, Mount Rainier, Yosemite, The Great Sand Dunes and Acadia National Parks. I have also run a number of Fall Color Workshops in Colorado.

In the future, there will be additional landscape photographs added to the site. The images are a compromise between looking good on a computer monitor and still having the image download to your browser in a reasonably few short seconds. Please note that the resolution of 72 dpi makes these pictures almost useless for downloading and printing. They have been optimized for web viewing. Note that the FAA logo is not in the final print that gets purchased!

I have had the pleasure of meeting many professional photographers in the field such as Art Wolfe, John Shaw, Galen Rowell, Bill Fortney, Thomas Mangelsen and Joe Lange. Each of them are great landscape photographers who have all been an inspiration for me.

I hope you enjoy my images and decide to purchase some prints for your home or office. If you have any special uses in mind, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your ideas.

By the way, my ethnic background is Hungarian for those curious about my name.
